These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SevenCourts Admin mobile application (the "App") provided by SevenCourts GmbH ("SevenCourts", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. About the App
The SevenCourts Admin app is a free companion tool for configuring SevenCourts hardware panels — interactive digital scoreboards designed for tennis, padel, and pickleball venues. The App communicates with panels locally over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and does not require an account, login, or subscription.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for the purpose of configuring and managing SevenCourts hardware panels. You may not: - Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App - Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App - Use the App to interact with devices other than SevenCourts panels - Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices in the App
4. Hardware Requirement
The App is designed exclusively for use with SevenCourts hardware panels. Full functionality requires a compatible panel within Bluetooth range. We do not guarantee that the App will function with any other hardware or in the absence of a supported panel.
5. Bluetooth and Network Configuration
The App uses Bluetooth Low Energy to communicate with panels. When you configure a panel's Wi-Fi connection through the App, you are responsible for ensuring you have authorization to connect the panel to the selected network. Wi-Fi passwords you enter are transmitted directly to the panel over Bluetooth and are not stored by the App.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by SevenCourts GmbH and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. The SevenCourts name and logo are trademarks of SevenCourts GmbH.
7. No Warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that: - The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure - The App will be compatible with all devices or operating system versions - Any particular panel configuration will succeed - Defects will be corrected within any specific timeframe
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SevenCourts GmbH and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the App, regardless of the theory of liability. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is zero, as the App is provided free of charge).
9. Third-Party Services
The App may contain links to third-party websites (such as sevencourts.com for our privacy policy and terms). These links are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party websites. Your interaction with third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
10. Updates and Changes
We may release updates to the App from time to time. Updates may modify or remove features, require a newer operating system version, or change system requirements. We are not obligated to provide updates or to maintain backward compatibility with older devices or operating system versions. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the App or revoke your license at any time without notice. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms cease immediately.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Munich, Germany. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you also retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Privacy and Data Collection
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All communication occurs locally between your device and the connected SevenCourts panel over Bluetooth Low Energy. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy at https://sevencourts.com/privacy-policy.
